House in Provence with Rocky Mountain Anthracite cladding
In Ollioules, in the Var region, a passive timber-framed house demonstrates that energy efficiency and aesthetics can go hand in hand.
The façade, clad in wood-cement panels, is punctuated by ORSOL Rocky Mountain Anthracite Neomineral cladding, applied over an area of approximately 78 m².
This lightweight stone cladding, in linear strips, adds texture and contrast while remaining compatible with a wooden structure. The anthracite tone creates a contemporary play of shadows that blends perfectly with the grey cladding.
This project shows how modern stone cladding can become the aesthetic signature of a passive house, a solution that can easily be exported to European countries that are sensitive to sustainable construction and environmental standards.
